IMD announces southwest monsoon

The Indian Meteorological Department has come up with a latest notification according to which the Southwest monsoon has commenced in Chhattisgarh and it is likely to intensify in the next 48 hours. But according to the sources this monsoon was expected to come in that place during the last week but it has been delayed by almost 1 week but despite getting the delayed to intensity of the rainfall has not been reduced by any extent and has rather increased then what was predicted by the department last week.

This particular monsoon will continue in the eastern and the Western coast for a round 2 weeks and after that it will proceed towards central India and then reach the northern part of the country by the beginning of July. But this time the effect of cyclone can also be seen and the intensity of the rainfall is likely to be very high around the regions of Chhattisgarh and Odisha despite the epicenter of the cyclone being away from the eastern coast over the period of time. It is important to note that a red alert has been issued for the districts such as Bilaspur and Korba for the next 48 hours because they will experience the heaviest rainfall of this year during this particular span of time.

In fact, all people have been strictly advised to stay at home and not to take any public transportation until it is very urgent because the situation will definitely deplete over the period of time. After Chhattisgarh the monsoon will be proceeding to other states of Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh because these States particularly share borders with Chhattisgarh. It is important to note that another reason due to which Chhattisgarh will be get a heavy rainfall is still not known and it is only with the help of proper technology that the reason can be predicted over the period of time but many researches has been able to reach this conclusion that the dense forest cover in Chhattisgarh is one of the biggest recent due to which the quantity of rainfall received by the state will increase over the time. The government will not be impacted by all of these factors because it has already evacuated the regions which were likely to experience a very heavy rainfall at the outskirts of the city.

In the past years the level of pollution has decreased in the state of Chhattisgarh to a great extent and this is yet another reason due to which the quantity of rainfall has increased over the period of time. The government is also trying to provide every latest update with respect to weather to the people so that they do not have to get affected by any kind of change in the weather. Such kind of assistance from the government will definitely help the people in the long run.
